Richard Herring's Edinburgh Fringe Podcast 2012

Richard Herring

At last year's festival, Richard Herring recorded a daily podcast. Featuring improvised stand-up, interviews with top stars and guest performance spots for up-and-coming comics, Richard Herring's Edinburgh Fringe Podcast quickly became a big hit. The podcast series sat at the top of the iTunes chart for pretty much the whole month.

Despite moaning a bit last year how much work it was to organise, 'The King of Edinburgh' (apparently he still has 'no idea' where that nickname came from) is indeed returning to do yet another month of podcasts, alongside his main stand-up show (this year titled Talking Cock - The Second Coming).

The first podcast is this Thursday. You'll be able to listen to them all for free via iTunes or this website, with each episode published by the following morning. Here's a list of some of names to look out for:

Due to the volatile nature of comedians' diaries, fans should be aware that the line-ups might change at short notice, but as was proven last year - whatever happens, it's always an entertaining show.

The hour long shows are being recorded daily at The Stand Comedy Club at 2:15pm. If you want to be in the audience and be in with the chance of winning some good (and some bad) prizes head to The Stand box office or get tickets online via EdFringe.com

In the meantime, all last year's shows are still online to enjoy. Listen here
