Video: The Boy With Tape On His Face
The Boy With Tape On His Face, aka Kiwi comic Sam Wills, has been wowing audiences around the world with his inventive, interactive mime show. With gaffer tape firmly locking his mouth shut, he never utters a word.
However, we can now hear him talk for the first time, thanks to the release of this interview video from our friends at ComComedy. They ask him where he gets his ideas from, and whether having a sealed up mouth ever gets frustrating:
Tape Face Boy will be performing a new show called More Tape at the Pleasance Courtyard throughout this year's festival at 9:40pm each evening. The less you know about the show show, the more you will enjoy... But if you must know, he will have a gunfight, battle Darth Vader and bring John Lennon back to life. Listing
If you don't manage to catch the show in Edinburgh, he'll be embarking on a 38 date tour straight after the festival. Cities include Nottingham, Brighton, Oxford, Birmingham, Salford, Bath, Aldershot, Cardiff and Cheltenham. For more details on the tour and the full list of venues it will visit see www.theboywithtapeonhisface.com
Wills has also made an online pilot for BBC Three called The Tape Face Tapes recently. Below is a clip:
The full show can be watched on BBC iPlayer
