Barbershopera are doing Edinburgh 2012
Last year (2011), Barbershopera - the hit a cappella comedy group - didn't attend Edinburgh. Instead they recorded the funny video that can be seen below, pointing out some of the problems with performing at the festival. For example, the cost of it.
Seems they've had a change of heart this year though, as we spot in our listings the group's new show: The Three Musketeers. They'll be at the Pleasance Courtyard at 11:05pm.
Their blurb says: "Barbershopera are back! And this time they have swords. With her village under threat of destruction by the villainous Cardinal Richtea, young Nicole D'Artagnan must dress up as a man and head to Paris in hope of joining the famous King's Musketeers. Reinventing the classic adventure story with fresh four-part harmonies, the three guys and a girl sing you through this epic tale. The 17th century just got cool again."
