Ellis & Rose are the next generation in a long tradition of British double-acts - they don't need to play a variety of different characters in a sequence of sketches... they only need to be themselves.

Gareth Ellis and Richard Rose are both 22 years old. They graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London last year. As well as gaining their degrees, they also gained a crippling amount of debt which they are now failing to pay off in a world which views them as unemployable freaks... and interest is beginning to mount (on their loans... not on their comedy career, sadly).

Their debut show sees them trying to escape this hole using all manner of get-rich-quick schemes and money-making plots, whilst also dealing with the terrible burden of being in the double act, Ellis & Rose.

With the darkness of The League of Gentlemen, the absurdity of Vic & Bob and the angst-ridden anarchy of Bottom, Ellis & Rose are a must-see act at this year's Fringe. Expect to be confronted with a dead bird (not a parrot), offensive meat products, an evil sock puppet and more...

Ellis & Rose is pure double-act comedy based on the bizarre relationship of this unique partnership - it is not sketch comedy, but a refreshing and new take on the old-fashioned double-act dynamic.

They thought doing an Edinburgh show would be LUCRATIVE - they were WRONG.
Their first mistake was choosing to do a show for the bargain price of ZERO POUNDS PER TICKET with PBH Free Fringe.

Come and see them before one of them gets funny.
