2012 Edinburgh Fringe
Centralia
In the 1960s an underground coal fire was sparked beneath the mining town of Centralia, Pennsylvania. Almost all 2,000 inhabitants evacuated. Three people chose to stay. Based on true events, Lecoq-trained company Superbolt Theatre has these three characters create a show, to tell the world their story. Using a mixture of dance, cabaret, movement and comedy, these three performers tell their tragic tale that has the audience laughing the whole way. 'Wonderfully silly and wildly engaging' **** Remotegoat.co.uk. 'It's a show about home and heart. Go see it.' **** (BristolTheatreReview.com).
