2012 Edinburgh Fringe

Escaping from the corruption of modern-day Paris, Rosalind and Celia can't charge their phones, and they have to get into Globe-garb and listen to rustic lutes. Falling further into the past, they find themselves in a completely different theatre... This is Shakespeare at its most inventive, most ridiculous and most playful. A modern rendering of the play, this production will still be (teasingly) faithful to the hilarious, heart-breaking and highly energetic performances of the original Elizabethan stage.
