Life or something Like It - Free
Two for one, 60 minutes of inventive poetry and songs, from coalitions to coats, foreign affairs to fleeces. Alex Keelan, described as the female John Cooper Clarke by her mate Pauline, and Claire Mooney, a political, satirical, singer/songwriter who goes from feisty radical to Caprice in a fleece in 60 seconds. Established singer/songwriter Mooney has written topical quirky songs for the Late Show and BBC Radio North West for the last three years. 'Excellent, something of an undiscovered jewel' (Terry Christian). 'Mooney kept the crowd enthralled' (Leicester Mercury).
