The King of the One Liners chats to guests plucked from the audience. It could be Martin from Leeds, who runs a rug shop or Lydia, a housewife from Dundee. Actual people are the stars of the show and Tim interviews them all with childlike enthusiasm. As Tim always says, 'everybody has a story' (please note the production cannot guarantee that everyone will have a story). 'A very funny man indeed'(Bob Monkhouse), 'The man with the gold pun' (Independent), 'Seriously funny' (Times), 'I never said I had a story' (Martin from Leeds).
