Elizabeth Tudor rehearses the speech that may define her life. Regal and eloquent, she's a bawdy old bird and more than a mere product of image-makers. She rips mercilessly into past and present morality and personalities with insight that makes her views controversial and shocking. Whatever happened to Englishness? How have we become so abased by foreign influences and a meaningless democracy? Brave audiences are encouraged to interact ... at their peril. 'What makes Regina so watchable is Inston himself. He is a very talented performer and deserves a lot more attention' (Chris Hislop, Fringe Review 2009).
