The Nose
A drunken barber finds a lonely nose in his roll of bread. Moments later a government major wakes up to discover that not only has his own nose vanished, it is walking around town dressed as an officer! Are the two connected? Could it be witchcraft? And so begins a maddening charge through St Petersburg in search of the renegade organ. Fat Git Theatre's adaptation of Gogol's short story reinvents St Petersburg as a place where the law has no precedent, restaurants serve empty plates and the last Russian communist has gained complete control of the theatre.
