Ever wondered how to make a home-made treadmill? The practicalities of an orgy? Or what to do when you don't like parties but do like party food? Then wonder no more, as the 2010 Foster's Comedy Award Nominee, Sarah Millican returns to the Fringe with a brand new hour of stand-up entitled Sarah Millican - Thoroughly Modern Millican. When playing as a child, Sarah's mam made her run past the backyard door every twenty minutes so if she were abducted, she wouldn't get further than Gateshead. Sarah has carried this into adult life. She's never been abducted. And only got past Gateshead at 29. If your glass is half full, she'll top it up.
Multi-award winning Sarah Millican has had yet another amazing year which has included two British Comedy Award nominations, a sell-out national tour, a performance on the Royal Variety Show, a second series of her Radio 4 series Sarah Millican's Support Group and numerous guest TV appearances including The Graham Norton Show, Frank Skinner's Opinionated, a headline appearance on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and regular appearances on ITV1's Loose Women. Sarah's first national tour, Chatterbox, debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2010 and completely sold out with additional shows being added due to overwhelming public demand, notching up 120 dates from Autumn 2010 through to Spring 2011. The hotly anticipated DVD of the show will be released in November this year.
