2011 Edinburgh Fringe
Mojo
Fast-paced, brutal and hilarious, Acorn Productions' Mojo follows six terrified men, two dead bodies and one rusty cutlass at the birth of rock'n'roll. Written by Jez Butterworth (Jerusalem) and winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Comedy in 1995 on its debut at the Royal Court, it combines 'the verbal menace of Harold Pinter with the physical violence of Quentin Tarantino' (Sunday Times). Acorn Productions' previous shows include Penhall's, Some Voices - 'the pinnacle of theatre ... a director who gives a masterclass' (Daily Info).
