In the first of two debates, four top comedy industry names have a verbal punch-up over the proposition that: "Comedians are psychopathic masochists with a death wish". The four will include "Scotland's funniest woman" Janey Godley and Kate Copstick, Scotsman comedy critic and judge on ITV1's Show Me the Funny. Chaired by comedy consigliere John Fleming, who wrote Malcolm's autobiography I Stole Freddie Mercury's Birthday Cake. One side of the debate is in this blog by John
