2011 Edinburgh Fringe
Mae Day: I'm Not Waving, I'm Drowning
Two time Canadian comedy award nominee, and finalist in the 2011 UK musical comedy awards, Mae Martin celebrates a decade of doing comedy (she started at age 13) with her solo show Mae Day: I'm Not Waving, I'm Drowning. The show mines her neurotic visions of the impending apocalypse, her extremely strong feelings about certain celebrities, and her adventures in androgyny. 'Witty and wickedly funny' (Xtra magazine), 'Smart, deadpan observations' (Now magazine).
