Award winning comedian John Moloney, one of the stars of the current BBC TV series Grumpy Old Men, will be returning to the Edinburgh Fringe this August for 2 exclusive performances of his Butterflies with Stretchmarks smash hit show at The Gilded Balloon Teviot Wine Bar on 24th/25th August.
The man, who knew he wanted to be a stand-up from the age of 14, having seen the likes of Dave Allen and Les Dawson as a child, started on the comedy circuit when he was 20. Moloney who is also a multi-talented musician - his first act on the comedy circuit was as the 'angry young accordionist', also had a brief flirtation with the education system as a German teacher and still uses his linguistic skills when he performs in Hamburg and Berlin.
Moloney who has been winning plaudits from media and public alike around the world for many years and has twice won the award for Best Live Performer at the London Comedy Festival is acknowledged as one of the funniest comics on the circuit - which is what it's all about really.
