How the Money Goes
The double agent expected to lose her tiara in a game of strip poker, but the recently reincarnated protagonist didn't expect to lose her fortune, especially since she can't remember ever having one. This absurd comedy, loosely inspired by The Great Gatsby, tells the story of five eccentrics in an abandoned town who pass the time by conning and manipulating each other out of a fortune. Their game is fuelled by an exchange of lies, strikingly lucid truths, murder and cantaloupe. A dark glimmer of clarity for a world in which money is its own problem.
