After their sell-out run in 2010, the old GOL return to the Edinburgh Fringe to ask the big question: is the novel dead, or just sleeping? Cultural sketch comedy that runs the artistic gamut pauses to catch its breath, before hailing a cab the rest of the way.
***** Best of the Fest 2010. "Gloriously entertaining, utterly brilliant" (Scotsman). "Arts correspondents be warned" (Independent). "An energetic and enlightening hour of satire and silliness" (List). "Intelligent. Cultured. Literate. I laughed anyway" (Emo Phillips).

The Gentlemen of Leisure return to the Edinburgh Fringe, following a 5 star sell out stint in 2010, a successful London run and performances nationwide, including The Camden Crawl, Peacock and Gamble's Emergency Broadcast, The Brighton Fringe and The Great Big Sketch Off.

The duo comprises critically acclaimed stand-up Nish Kumar and BBC Radio Comedy writer Tom Neenan, who combine drum-tight writing with exuberant performance in a format that parodies cultural magazine shows such as Newsnight Revue and The Culture Show.

This year, the gents are back and asking the big question: is the novel dead, or just sleeping? And if it is dead, who killed it? Cultural sketch comedy that runs the artistic gamut, pauses to catch its breath, and then decides to take a cab the rest of the way.

Praise for An Hour of Too Much Culture (Edinburgh Fringe 2010):
