The Game of Roles - Free
This play, freely adapted from Luigi Pirandello, is about the roles society dictates, and the actions of the people living within those bounds, illustrating the contradictions of life. The philosophical protagonist Leone is obsessed with the idea of roles imposed by society. It seems he has understood the 'game of life'. He thinks that the only way in which to live without pain is to empty oneself of emotion. All this is interposed with dramatic links from Macbeth, romantic dialogues inspired by Fellini's masterpieces and hilarious sketches based on Neapolitan culture.
