Lalor came to prominence in his native Ireland by appearing on a reality TV show with Des Bishop called Joy in the Hood. The show went to disadvantaged neighbourhoods around Ireland with the aim of uncovering new comedic talent. Eric was one of the participants and quickly went on to establish himself as a regular on the Irish comedy circuit. Now headlining all over Ireland and appearing in every comedy festival line-up, he has come to the Edinburgh Fringe as he feels it is a rite of passage for every comedian.
