2011 Edinburgh Fringe
Chris Martin: No. Not That One
In this hotly anticipated debut show, 'charming and talented' (Time Out) stand-up Chris Martin proves how great life is when you're surrounded by people. Even people you think are kn*bs. If you've ever made an idiot of yourself in front of friends and family, taken a photo of something you shouldn't have or been mugged by a camp Frenchman, this is the show for you. No songs. No Gwyneth Paltrow. Just jokes. 'F**king hilarious' (Jack Whitehall). 'Funny and original' (Chortle.co.uk). As seen on 'Most Annoying People' and 'World Cup's Most Shocking Moments' BBC3.

A minute of your time: Chris Martin, comedian (Link expired)
A Q&A with comedian Chris Martin.
Catriona MacLeod, Edinburgh Festivals, 10th August 2011More details
Introducing one of the youngest, hottest new acts on the circuit today, Chris Martin brings his hotly anticipated debut solo stand-up show Chris Martin: No. Not That One to the Edinburgh Fringe this August, titled as such as, apparently, there's another bloke in show business with the same name.
Chris Martin, the comedian, wants to talk about how great life is when you're surrounded by other people. If you've ever made an idiot of yourself in front of friends and family, taken a photo of something you shouldn't have, or been mugged by a camp Frenchman, this is the show for you. There's no piano playing, no heart-rending songs, and definitely no Gwyneth Paltrow. Just jokes.
One of the most exciting upcoming comedians in the country, Chris already has award nominations and several television appearances under his belt including Best Ever 3D Moments (Channel 4), World Cup's Most Shocking Moments (BBC3) and Most Annoying People (BBC3). He also hosts a regular monthly podcast with fellow comedian Carl Donnelly which was voted in the Guardian's "Top 10 Comedy Podcasts" and has supported Al Pitcher, Pete Firman and Zoe Lyons on nationwide tours.
