2011 Edinburgh Fringe
Catie Wilkins: A Chip Off the Odd Block
Catie's dad is an odd, robotic man who shunned free love during the swinging sixties to focus on accountancy training for Tesco. Catie (as seen on FHM's Stand Up Hero, ITV4) however, is normal. Almost definitely. Well, surely she's more normal than the man who described JFK's assassination as just a bit of a whoddunit? Or are we all destined to turn into our parents? 'Very funny' (Jimmy Carr), 'An excellent comedy performer' (Dave), 'Wonderfully funny. Deliciously sick' (Chortle.co.uk). One of Dave's Top 10 Comedians to Catch 2011.

Catie's dad is an odd, robotic man who shunned free love during the swinging sixties to focus on accountancy training for Tesco.
But his robotic tendencies seem to have skipped a generation, because Catie however (as seen on FHM's Stand Up Hero on ITV4), seems to be normal. Almost definitely. Well, surely she's more normal than the man who described JFK's assassination as just 'a bit of a whoddunit'?
Terrified that we're all destined to turn into our parents, Catie is trying to make sure she never wakes up compelled to write a Christmas family circular describing her loving partner's diarrhoea."
Catie's unique combination of dry yet self-effacing humour and a darkly sarcastic personality make her debut hour a delight to watch, guaranteed to win her an army of new fans at the festival
One of DAVE's Top 10 Comedians To Catch 2011. Laughing Boy New Act of The Year Finalist 2010.
Catie has also written for BBC1 Children's sitcom Hotel Trubble, Sex Bombs (BBC NI) and contributed to The Atheist's Guide To Christmas, and will have her first children's book published by Nosy Crow in Spring 2012.
