2011 Edinburgh Fringe

On 26th March 2011 classical bassoonist Ben Brailsford participated in a peaceful protest at an upmarket London grocer. He was arrested and held in a police cell for 24 hours. The police gave him boiled potatoes and baked beans, and a three-day-old copy of The Sun. (Eventually they gave him some toilet paper.) Finally, he was charged with aggravated trespass and set free on bail. This is his story and the story of over 100 fellow peaceful protesters that day. With bassoon accompaniment and a scale model of Ben's police cell.
