Direct from a sell out season at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, as well as Sydney's Big Laugh Comedy Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Victorian Seniors' Festival, Alzheimer's the Musical: A Night to Remember! is having its Northern Hemisphere debut at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The three cast members all turned 60 this year, and they're celebrating by bringing their award-winning show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! Isn't that what all sexagenarians do?
As residents of the Jurassic Park Retirement Village, these old swingers are hot-to-trot with a riotous display of senior moments in stand-up, sketch and song. Well... after they've had their nana naps. Every night will be 'grab a granny night' at the Gilded Balloon this Fringe Festival. Get down and boogie to some hip-replacement hop, enjoy vintage angst with The Leader of the Geriatric Pack, and be grateful there isn't time to shoot the nude calendar... or is there?
