Do dyslexics make the best comedians? Just ask Eddie Izzard, Jay Leno, Robin Williams and Billy Connolly to name a few. Growing up undiagnosed dyslexic can be tragic for some. But in tragedy, one finds comedy. Who would have thought that being a bad speller would be so funny. Join IFTA nominated comedian Aidan Bishop as he spells the beans on his dyslexia! 'Great comedy toming' (a dyslexic), 'Very funny' (Scotsman).

In this brand new stand-up comedy show, Aidan Bishop asks if dyslexics make the best comedians? Growing up as an undiagnosed dyslexic can be tragic for some. But as they say, it's in tragedy where one finds comedy! Join Aidan as he spells the beans on his dyslexia.

Misspelled is an honest, meaningful, but still hilarious hour of comedy which tackles Aidan's discovery that he has lived the majority of his life as an undiagnosed dyslexic, how that has changed his life and how it has given him an all new perspective on his childhood.

Native New Yorker Aidan Bishop (brother of Des) is back at the Edinburgh Fringe for the fourth consecutive year. Aidan began his comedy career in his hometown but since relocating to Dublin he has become one of the top comics working in Ireland today. As organizer and resident MC of the now famous International Comedy Club, he has honed his craft in the same room as some of Ireland's most famous comedians, sharing stages with acts such as Dylan Moran, Tommy Tiernan and Ardal O'Hanlon.

However, Aidan's ambitions have not been confined to the small borders of the International. In the past two years Aidan has appeared in all major Irish festivals, including the Kilkenny Cat Laughs and the Carlsberg Comedy Carnival. In 2008 Aidan made his Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut with his solo show, Bachelor Pad which received critical acclaim. He has followed this up with 2009's No Sissy Stuff and 2010's Adaptable.

Aidan has become a regular face on Ireland's national television network RTE and in recent years, he has been nominated for an Irish Film and Television Academy Award.
