Songs! Humour! Virtuosic bass and cajón playing, subversive use of PowerPoint! Pristine vocal harmonies, and crowd-pleasing boy-band choreography. And free pudding! ('Pudding' is a euphemism for 'mediocre romantic advice'.) The Young Dads' songbook includes the peppy barbershop number 'Existential Crisis' and fan favourite 'I Could Never Eat That,' a meditation on adolescent girlhood. Other targets of satire include the corporate world, the fizzy emptiness of modern life, and the inescapable reality that no one will have sex with them. You will laugh to the point of irreparable facial damage.
