In Dark Side of the Poon fast-talking Aussie stand-up Pete Jonas looks at the difficulties men face when breaking up with women and why it's women's fault.
In Jonas' debut solo Edinburgh show, this "engaging comic with a genuine talent" (Australian Times) examines why so many people struggle to hold down a relationship and why new relationships seem to be getting harder.
"Younger women are becoming more sexually aggressive. I think this is because of social changes, such as binge drinking and slags", says Jonas. "I always takes pepper spray on a date."
He also believes we have become depressingly picky when it comes to potential partners. "In the old days it was easy. You'd be set up with someone and all you had to do was say, 'Yes splendid. Terrific. Jolly good.' Now, sadly, I think our species would completely die out if it wasn't for happy hour and council housing."
In a send-up of overused, multimedia presentations, Jonas looks at his past relationships for someone to blame. But will he listen to the giant 6' 4" vagina on stage (called Martha) and find out where he is going wrong?
