Star of Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, and self proclaimed fat man, Mick Ferry is back in Edinburgh with his eagerly awaited second solo show.

Last year Mick performed at the fringe for a month at the same time as and in the next room to The Chippendales. Screaming women and oiled up men ruined his life for that month and he vowed to get his revenge. He had never felt jealousy or hatred like it. No one threw their knickers at him, no one tried to break into his dressing room and he didn't require security to leave the building!

Over the course of the last year Mick has spent his time interviewing male strippers and female attendees of these shows to find out what really makes them all tick and why they do it. Along the way he discovers some quite surprising things about himself and The Chippendales. When forced to examine his disdain for strippers and audiences alike he manages to disprove his own misogyny ending up with a begrudging respect for the blokes he initially set out to destroy. Could he actually do a complete 180 and take part in a strip show and actually enjoy it?

A stand-up since 1998, Mick recently starred in Ken Loach's Palm D'Or nominated feature film Looking for Eric. He quickly made it to the finals of So You Think You're Funny, but is relatively new to the Edinburgh Fringe scene and is renowned as a fine purveyor of lugubrious surrealism. He is one of the most sought after comics on the national and international circuit regularly headlining at the Comedy Store in London and Manchester and gigs as far and wide as Ireland, Dubai, Singapore and Shanghai.

Nominated for Best Stand-Up in the North West Comedy Awards, Mick was a founder member of The Comedy Store's weekly topical team show M.E.N At Work. In the furiously paced show based on the week's news, Mick honed his talent for off-the-cuff, satirical and topical comedy, wowing audiences with his acerbic outbursts and razor sharp wit. He is now also a regular performer in The Cutting Edge at the London Comedy Store.

Mick was awarded a writers bursary by the BBC in 2004 and went on to write and perform a pilot for BBC Radio 4; a sketch show entitled Turn Left at the Pier based in the glitzy showbiz world of Blackpool. Other radio credits include Brand Spanking New for BBC7 and Jason Manford & Friends for BBC Radio 2. TV credits include Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (BBC 1) and two series of The Comedy Store (Comedy Central), The World Stands up (Comedy Central) and Comedy Blue (Paramount). He has also recently contributed as a writer on John Bishop's Britain.
