Are you happy in life? Truly happy? What happens at 'The End'? This year, it's a show of two parts - part two will be performed at next year's Fringe! It's been a big year for Jase - world tours, awards across the globe. Even included in Chortle's 'Top 50 Gigs of the Decade'. Twice. So, come and see 'The End'. This year, it's just the beginning. 'A masterclass in how comedy should be done' ***** (Time Out). 'More funny in his middle toe than most comics do in their whole body' (Chortle.co.uk).

Edinburgh fringe grilling: Jason Cook

Next to be subjected to Sport.co.uk's Edinburgh Fringe grilling is "Geordie genius" (Time Out) and non-sport fan Jason Cook, a comedian's comedian whose name has cropped up a few times already - in favourable terms, of course - in our grilling thus far.

More details

Award winning and critically acclaimed comic Jason Cook returns to the Edinburgh Fringe and The Stand with his brand new show The End (Part 1).

Jason faced his own death recently which kick started him into making his own life better. Apparently he's high maintenance and has set about changing that. So he wants to know if you're happy in your life? Truly happy? And if not what would you change? And what would happen if you were to face your own "The End"?

This year for a change, it's a show of two parts; part two will be performed at next year's fringe.

It's been a big year for Jason, world tours, awards won across the globe - he was even included in Chortle's Top 50 gigs of the decade. Twice.

Jason is known for his dark razor sharp wit mixed with a healthy amount of heartwarming silliness and buffoonery. Behind his cheerful Geordie exterior lurks a dark, sharp comedic mind capable of taking an unsuspecting audience to places they didn't want to go. His true-to-life stories drag you in and won't let go. Jason is close to the edge but always intriguing and blessed with the sort of charm that'll have you laughing in spite of yourself.

Jason is also known for his writing, being the chief writer of the groundbreaking sketch show Soup and also Die Clatterschenkfieternmaus. Jason has enjoyed world tours of his last three Edinburgh shows, winning the coveted Best International Show at the New Zealand Comedy Festival an award previously won by Eddie Izzard.
