Janice Day
Janice Day - how I lost my breast and found myself. Be prepared to laugh (but not while I'm singing). Between hilarious comedy links to Billie Holiday songs, delivered exquisitely with her spell-binding voice, Janice reads extracts from her seriously scientific breast cancer memoir. Eg: 'They lowered the paddle-thingy and squeezed my tits until I thought I was going to come out of there with two pepperoni pizzas attached to my sternum.' The outrageously funny author of 'Getting it Off My Chest' offers late lunch entertainment. Sandwiches and water welcome and available in the Café. Supporting the Maggie's Centres.
