2010 Edinburgh Fringe
In The Name Of The Flesh
Erotic Award winner for poet of the year 2010, Ernesto premieres in Edinburgh his experimental one-man show, blending spoken word and video projections. With surreal eroticism and nods to burlesque, drag, fetish and Eurovision, Ernesto deals with the queer body in the 21st century. We are introduced to a unique world of self-fellating dwarves, detached navels, invisible lesbians, talking penises, sentimental pornstars, fallen angels, women without willies... 'Thought-provoking... witty, sordid, darkly humorous, sincere ... so well-written ... engaging performance' **** (RemoteGoat.co.uk); 'hilarious' (GayTimes.co.uk); 'Naked interaction ... sexual encounters, mixed media and the male form', 'Amusing' (FringeReport.com).
