The Flying Penguins - a London-based theatre company - specialise in co-devised scripts which explore and magnify the absurdities of life in comedic ways. Internationally acclaimed, the Penguins fly in from a four-starred season on the Australian fringe circuit. Their debut piece, 'Fame or Fries' - 'Slick, entertaining, fast-moving, hilarious! **** (Talkfringe.com) - shows Brenda, a naive farm girl from MudLick, Arkansas, seeking fame in the Big Apple. Fly on her journey of whisky-breath housemates, alleyway love interests and pro-porn agents and see if she finds success, fame or simply fries!
