2010 Edinburgh Fringe
Diet!
A one-woman comedy about the struggles people go through when trying to lose weight, and general attitudes to food. In this performance art piece Mills uses real food to demonstrate the emotions of her character, who is unable to uphold a relationship with anyone but food; 'I can't understand people, they judge themselves too easily and each other'. Using a mixture of verbatim and surreal theatre, Mills goes on a foodie journey and she wants to take you with her - as part of the free Fringe it will be the cheapest diet you've ever been on.
