Surreal and sinister new comedy from the Casual Violence! collective. Glen and Miriam Garfunkel run a sex shop for new and second-hand sex toys, drawing in all sorts of bizarre and unusual characters - but when a rare antique dildo from their shop is used to commit a series of violent murders, the resulting investigation uncovers terrible secrets from their past. Brand new comedy troupe Casual Violence! are bringing their unique blend of the dark and the daft to their Edinburgh Fringe debut with DILDON'T!.
Set in a sex shop for new and second-hand sex toys, DILDON'T! plays host to an array of surreal and sinister characters: dodgy back-street toy dealers, reformed necrophiliacs and escaped lunatics join shop-owners Glen and Miriam Garfunkel in the friendly and respectable world of "Tits for Tat". When an antique dildo is stolen from the shop and is used to commit a series of violent murders, the Garfunkels' world slowly begins to unravel...
After critical acclaim and six sell-out shows in the space of a year, Casual Violence! (led by writer/director ]James Hamilton) will introduce the Edinburgh Fringe to their unique brand of dark and absurd new comedy. Don't miss their brand new play.
