2010 Edinburgh Fringe
Bilingual Comedian
Eddie Izzard's theory: Europe must melt and become bilingual. New York comedian turned Edinburgh resident, Rebecca Donohue, tests this theory and attempts to 'teach' the audience and herself Spanish using nothing but 'borrowed' language tapes. Instead of learning futile phrases such as 'the mouse is under the table', as Eddie learned in his early French training, the audience will learn more useful phrases, such as what to say when you're about to get intimate with your Latin lover, but don't want to go all the way.
