Keeping Mum

Who remembers this 1990s sitcom? Due to it being on in the 1990s and with no repeats, I have fond but sadly very vague memories. But...I've just heard that on the 17th November, the first series will be released on DVD. I can't wait.

I vaguely remember it. Think if memory serves me right twas quite a pleasant show.

I remember watching this too. It was pretty good, but I was a kid back then so I'd watch and enjoy pretty much anything without being too judgmental. Pleased

So are these 'vague' memories convincing enough to buy the DVD? I certainly am going to give it a go.

Does anyone remember a similar Australian sitcom, which was shown in the evenings, here in Britain, in the late 80s?

Yes. It was actually based on that sitcom. It was the British version.

I bought the DVD the other day and watched a few episodes and it is really good, I was pleasantly surprised. There is alot more pathos in it than I remembered.

I remember this comedy and am going to buy the DVD

I have faint memories of this. That bloke used to be in loads of sitcoms, didn't he? Is he still around?

Martin Ball? Yes. He's predominantly on stage these days I believe.

Ah, checking IMDB, he didn't do as many as I thought. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else?

The guy from Watching, Paul Bown, maybe?

Maybe? I need to see a photo.
