British Comedy Guide

Confused? You will be.

MAN: My price comparison website keeps telling me it searches more companies than any other price comparison website (BEAT) I'm Perplexed.com

WOMAN: My price comparison website claims to get lower prices, even though it searches all the same companies as all the other price comparison websites. I'm Perplexed.com

VOICE OVER: Perplexed.com is the new price comparison website comparison website which helps you decide which price comparison website is right for you. Whether you're looking for a new price comparison website or simply want a better deal from your existing price comparison website, Perplexed.com can save you absolutely no time or money.

WOMAN 2: Now I'm completely confused with Perplexed.com

Nice idea. Could do with extending though. For a RFTP?

I love it and it's great at this length for me. I order you to send it RFTP.

what is a RFTP?

what is a RFTP?

Sorry. Might have helped if I said "to" RFTP, i.e. Recorded for Training Purposes - Radio 4 sketch show coming back shortly and offering some opportunities for uncommissioned writers. There's a thread here somewhere.

I Like it and it would work brilliantly on radio, totally send it in! :)

Nice! You're very good at these parody advert/programme-type things.

This is exactly like a sketch that Dan (Swerytd) sold a while back. His was a mock ad asking " were you injured making an ad about being injured at work?" Etc.

Under the sun etc.

I like this. A similar one just came to me:

"ARGH! does searching for car insurance drive you crazy?! Just don't bother with it then. As long as you're away fast enough, the f**ker will never know."

Taking off those stupid confused.com ads.

I love this sketch. It's always been a bit of a joke between my brother and I that we should parody an advert to be like this, but you completely nailed it.

Cheers all. Yep, it's definitely going to RFTP.

I like it, it's just missing that certain something that makes it great. I can't quite put my finger on it.

Notice I got a namecheck in this thread I never noticed before (cheers, 'Taxis!). Original sketch he refers to is https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/362#P3326, which I eventually sold to the first series of Play & Record for my BBC7 debut! (Even though, as posted, it was rejected by the original RFTP compo!)
