The strange and wonderful Mighty Boosh

I have done a search and can't see a solid thread on the show so I made one (sorry). I'm pretty sure the show has the Marmite effect, but I hope no arguments arise!

Anyway, I got into this show about 4 months ago. It was there for me when the ladyfriend left me, I found myself completely baffled yet still laughing every two minutes.

To this day I don't think I could explain why I find it hilarious.

One of my favourite episode is Old Gregg, which I can actually watch and repeat, and it never fails to make me giggle. Infact if it therapy for a poor day all I have to do is say "funky ball of tits" (getting it into conversation is half the effort) and all is well with the world.

I'm told that it should only be funny to people who have consumed their body weight in pills and other mind-altering substances, but I find it stupidly funny anyway.

Episodes to mention: Old Gregg, Milky Joe, Hitcher.

I like them.

I think they have a bit of magic.

Quite a big bit! :)

I thought that you hated them, Frankie. Oh well. :)

Oh well, indeed! :)

Ah, think that I was getting you confused with Godot Taxis.

I'd punch you straight on the nose for such a slur Aaron! And yeah, love The Boosh.

Godot is actually quite nice in real life.

Frankie ... Well, I've seen his 'comedy'. ;)

I refuse to believe this. *Shuts eyes, sticks fingers in ears and hums loudly*

I missed seeing Teh Godot. :(

Aww! I'm sure he'll be around for another meet. :)

I love them, sooo so much, but I think that they need to stop with the TV series now. The third and most recent production just hasn't been the same.

Something completely new (but still on TV) would be fantastico.

A sketch show or something, I reckon.

Yeah!!

A mixture of stuff, they could do a bit of stand up banter at the start.

Basically The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer but with, erm... Barratt and Fielding.
