Argumental - Series 1

This new panel show starts on Monday...

I've got high-hopes for it. Dave (the channel) has hired in some top comedians to take part, and the format lends itself nicely to stand-up performances.

And there's an exclusive-ish preview clip of Monday's episode here: https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/argumental/videos/

See the channel's smart looking and much improved new website for a different clip (and info on Batteries Not Included - the gadget show which features contributions from John Cleese) http://www.joindave.co.uk

Looks worth checking out.

The advert is already doing my head in though. It must be on every break!

I'll be watching the series to see how it goes.

It can't be worse than 'Street Cred Sudoku'. That's the crappest panel show ever created. It's even less funnier than 'Mock the Week'. Whistling nnocently

Yea good to see Rufus Hound on something besides Richard and Judy.

I've never heard Rufus Hound actually say anything funny yet. I suppose there's still time.

Depends how hard you are to be made to laugh

I think he's a very promising young comedian.

Well, thats just it, I've never seen his actual material, just him doing his presenting bit on various shows. I assumed he was a comedian, but I've never actually seen him pop up on anything doing his stuff.

He was OK on that ITV series Paul Merton did.

He's good at growing moustaches.

Is he a stand up?

He also does the voice over for Player on Bravo.

... Hasn't Johnny Vegas lost a lot of weight! :)

He certainly has. Good for 'im.

I think the first episode was very good, which some great moments and one interesting blooper. As far as I can tell, the only way Mark Watson can confuse a mammoth and a walrus was the tusks. There's hardly any other similarity at all.
