Coogan is being criticised for the most part because material for his new live show is very poor, it's interesting that two of the people who wrote his material have been accepted into the BBC College of Comedy Scheme. I'm sure there is more writers on the show than just those two but I just find it interesting.
I'm off to see him tonight and am not looking forward to it as much now because of the bad reviews. I have my fingers crossed that he doesn't make a complete mess up of it.
