Isn't Countdown about to be presented by Alexander Armstrong? If so, it might be worth watching again (I just wish they'd go back to the half hour show - 45 minutes is just too long).

Basically, any form of soap opera. Does that include The Archers?
I'd also like to get rid of Last of the Summer Wine, The Simpsons and all forms of reality TV.
Personally speaking, I think Hole in the Wall has gone on for too long as well.
Oh god, Hole in the Wall... as pointed out by Harry Hill - What would John Reith say?

Yes, exactly.

I have a theory. In order to make the BBC more enviromentally friendly, they are trying to make their own power by strapping magents to Lord Reith's coffin, putting him in a turbine, and making him spin in his grave by putting on bad shows.

I like The Archers, and it's got an excellent theme tune. Also, Last of the Summer Wine is one of the few comedies the youth-obsessed BBC does for an older audience, so as lame as I think it is, it's better than nothing.

Hole In The Wall is fantastic.
Are you kidding? It's prime time tosh!
It's fantastic prime time tosh.
I did laugh when I watched it on Saturday!
Prezunctly.

Yes, good point. It's amazing that either show is still aired, given that they don't have much to interest yoofs scriptwise. Perhaps Clegg ought to get a laptop with mobile broadband and a facebook account... and find naughty pictures of the other old geezer and that tarty bird of his... God forbid.
