I read the 'How To Be a Sitcom Writer' book last year.
It had some very good advice in it, but I chose not to follow it...

Me too. I didn't do any of the writing exercises though. Too much like hard work.

Its related to his course which I took. I think its too brief to be the only book you read on writing.
