Sadly, Gordon, you weren't here in the days of Aaron's sepia avatar circa 2008. It was much parodied at the time. I think I may even have taken a picture of Aaron at a BCG meet and put it through a sepia process and used it as my avatar for a little while.

Everyone was easily pleased back then.

Duh gud ole daze.

TBN has just dressed one of her son's teddy bears up as a homemade superhero complete with tea towel cape, a cardboard mask and a pair of underpants. Words fail her on The Scout Association's ways of raising money for charidee.

Ben thinks it's time for some Toast of London.

I've just had my letter about my winter fuel payment which will be paid shortly.

I'd just like to thank all you wonderful workers out there who toil away in order that this payment can be made. Fear not, I shall drink spend it wisely !

Just queued in a Post Office behind someone sending out dozens of parcels to eBay. He was boasting to the cashier that he sells about 30+ knitting patterns a day at a profit, which made me wonder where on earth he was getting hundreds of these things every week.

He has a basement (granary) full of grannies.
