Well I've been on the late shift this week and didn't eat dinner til 7, so wanted that to begin digesting first.

Just got back from running the Mayor's Quiz Night.
Quite apprehensive as I haven't done anything like that since . . . .
But It went very, very well !
If I can, I'll post some of the questions over the weekend staying off SS's toes with The Friday Quiz of course.
Knackered. Hard work keeping about 80 people entertained for over three hours!
As of 8.30am this morning I am homeless. My tenancy is in the process of going through and I'm set to move in next weekend so in the intervening week I will be staying with a 'friend'. 
I've got a half day at work and this evening I'm seeing Peter Hook (of New Order) in a concert in Leeds, something that was arranged months ago. Tomorrow I've been asked to co-present on a Halloween special on Peterborough FM so that will be fun.
I'll be seeing the kids on Sunday and Tuesday and getting stuff together for the move. Apart from a course next Friday I'm not back at work until Wednesday 6th November.

Ben is happy that he hasn't stuffed his face too much with the buffet at work today. It's not very becoming for a man of his age.
May have befriended one of the local ecentrics on my way home from work. Hope they were just in the area for the day. I don't really want to have to see them every day.

I remember the days when you never posted after 5pm. And when Ellie was more than just a Monday - Friday 9-5 poster. They were some good times.
