Its an homage to Chips return
The hair has been dyed but no op yet.
Is currently making little "squeeee" noises at his desk after finding out The Treason Show used a small bit of my work on Saturday
What's your latest novel about?

A sequel, I presume?
Marc P's new avatar looks rather like Jonathan Ross's lady wife.

So it's temporary then? *Hopeful face*.
Hugh Laurie is very pretty and nice to look at.

I'm hoping it'll inspire Ellie to give me a good homaging.
I'm filling in a Q&A for local press for a newspaper article I'm going to be in. I'm trying not to be TOO funny. I hate reading people who have tried obviously to be funny.
I'm sure you'll manage Nat

Congrats, Andy.

You're a proper celebrity. I need an autograph.
I hope I don't end up being a 'local celebrity'. That usually means 'nutter who everyone knows about'.
I'm actually a tiny freakout about people from school seeing it and my big face and stuff and all judging me.
Things are finally moving for me and the wife at last.
This has been majorly helped by her finally holding her hands up and admitting to certain things where before she skirted round the issues. It felt like the blame was being put squarely at my door when it most certainly was not. I don't like using the word blame but I felt like I was being unjustly treated and I wouldn't be able to properly move on until she had made those acknowledgements.
Anyway the upshot is, and this sounds like I've given in to everything, I'm moving out by the end of October to stay with my dad for around four months. This decision followed a discussion with the landlord and he has agreed (subject to certain conditions) that the wife can take on the tenancy and associated bills. It means the kids remain settled and I can build up cash for a deposit on my own place.
This way is for the best because the alternative is fraught with pitfalls and could get very messy if things go wrong. As it stands there's no immediate need for the rest of the family change surroundings, I get rid of silly liabilities like her phone and car and I'm not paying out extortionate sums in rent. I means that we can take a bit of time to get organised and not rush it all through before Christmas. The only bad thing likely to come up is the kid's reaction to me moving out but we'll manage somehow.
It's our wedding anniversary tomorrow - I might even buy her flowers to signify a fresh start.

That's normally known as "jealousy" or at least you can pretend it to be that anyway.

How about you buy another woman flowers to signify a fresh start?

I took out the word 'local' as I decided it was patronising. Proper celebrity sounds much better. You could be like that girl who won Big Brother.
Darling, f**k the people you went to school with, seriously. You are doing something with your life. If they judge you it is jealousy only.
I saw someone I went to school with a few months ago. She used to give me such a hard time for being a geek - made my life a misery for a year or two.
She still lives in Nottingham and is a single mother to five kids.
Nothing wrong with that, but at school she valued money and social status above all else. I was below her on both counts - not anymore.
She seemed to think we'd been best friends, my recollection is very very different. She said she "wished she'd worked a bit harder, like you". But to be honest, I didn't have any time to talk to her. My life is very different now.
So if they are anything like that, f**k em.

This.
Sounds like you are doing right by your kids Tuumble - they will remember this.
I'm glad things are moving forward for you.
