For my shit,my shit is the best

No shit?

Starting to feel like that episode of South Park.

I was about to say that women are both reasonable and accountable.

But if they've bought this app, they probably aren't. :(

So as you were.

The inference in this case is the celebration of sexual submission. Why on earth would you put it in shoes otherwise?

However, there are of course occasions when a woman can be naked on her knees in a loving, intimate and equal context.

First post of the day - solid start.

Morning everyone. Wave

Of course some new wave feminists would say its all about taking control and owning your identity and image.
Like rappers taking back nigger if you're a a rapper.
You can't judge me if I know who I am

Bought with money earned from their well paid careers.

I'm not sure they would say their ability to administer oral sex effectively is a core part of their identity and image.

Read Caitlin Moran's "How To Be A Woman". Excellent, non-hysterical book about why everyone should be a feminist.

She also explains how you can still be a feminist and love men and sex.

She's also bloody funny.

Indeed. Let's hope they don't wreck them by having babies.

I lost interest in cm since she stopped writing aboutmusic and start writing about telly.

I find her great whatever she's writing about. I find her witty, interesting, likeable, agree with her stance on equality and fancy her something rotten. I can't help but feel this last rather undermines...something.

No, no, I fancy her too. If I ever became a lesbian, I'm making a beeline for her.

The reason I love her is that she makes the case for feminism in an appropriate way for the 21st century.

She is funny, interesting and as prone to getting drunk and accidentally shagging someone as the next girl.

But between the anecdotes, she concisely explains why there is still a need for a feminist movement in this country, and how we haven't come nearly as far as we would like to think.

I've just bought Moranthology for my Kindle.

Aye, her columns in the Times magazine -whatever they're about - are never less than readable.

And I saw her first, bitch...

She's just stopped doing this temporarily as of...last weekend. She cited the rubbishness of lots of the telly she had to review IIRC.

I disappear for a year and come back to a feminist mecca? I am going to assume this is the joyful truth and not click back any further in the thread...

Also, in status related matters, I finished watching Battlestar Galactica the other night and now my life is hollow and without meaning. And I've got Hendrix in my head.

Welcome back :)

Feminist Mecca - not really. I did try to introduce a discussion on the Bechdel test on the Doctor Who thread, with mixed results.

Risky! I like your style.

on the Doctor Who thread

That thread is a dark and scary place. It is no place for me.

I don't agree with everything Caitlin Moran says, but most of it's jolly sensible. Plus I like her clothes and her funny lisp.

Interesting thing the Bechdel test, do you know all porn films and nature documentaries automatically fail it.

Dr Who is of course immune as it was written exclusively for geezers. It's in the BBC charter and everything.

Zooo, I like your face.

They've totally cast Capaldi for the ladies. He's a silver fox.

Zooo, I like your face.

I like your frame.

I think that's what men said to saucy ladies in the 50s.
