That sounds nasty...get thyself better very soon Ben.

Thanks. It's not that bad really, just feels like there's something in my eye. I went to a Doctor yesterday. He couldn't see anything in it, so prescribed some eye drops.

His mouth looks as if he's completely pissed. An old drunken pirate with his parrot.

Ben needs to go downstairs, get stuff and then come back upstairs. He might just leave it all downstairs.

Is a public (bank) holiday today because the annual show is on. Liking the day off but thinking of all the extra work I have to do tomorrow.

Thought about going to the show but it costs $30 (17.00 gbp) just to get in.

Ben got up late and didn't have time for breakfast. The canteen run can't come soon enough.

:O That's expensive.

Have a lovely day to yourself. I love bonus days off - where I can just chill out, read, go for a walk in the countryside without feeling guilty. Forget about tomorrow!

Edit: On your timeline, the day is probably finished. So I hope you did all of the above!

I ended up going out for lunch by myself, which was still cheaper than the show entry and I got to read my book in the sunshine. Finished off the day by watching Rhod Gilbert DVD. :)

Chomping his way through a bar of Cadbury's chocolate today my son thought a tooth had come out, turns out to be a bit of very hard plastic, like a bit of tubing about 1cm in size. Am sending it back with covering letter, the worry for me is it could well have been a choking hazard, even more so for a younger child.

You think 'choking hazard' - I think 'large settlement at door of court'.

Ha. Go to a solicitor?? I would have though that no harm done in our case would only warrant a letter to Cadbury, but could well have been worse.

But mostly you're interested in the justice, right?

Yeah. But make it sound like you are going to sue. That will ensure they send you a couple of extra bars of Dairy Milk back.

Should Shandy send the tubing back or hold onto it and the chocolate as evidence?
