It's been pissing it down with rain all day and the cat still decided to go out and spend half an hour sitting in the middle of the lawn staring at the house.

One of my computers was beeping quietly for ages, so quiet I couldn't hear it with my left ear, only my right one.
The beeping was a bit worrying. 
But now it has stopped, without me doing anything significant about it!
Which is even MORE worrying.

Six years ago today, my mother died. As is so often the case, I only fully appreciate her now.
