Heat?

Clothes. Airport staff tend to get worried when you turn up at an international airport without a suitcase.

Story is done! Draft one, anyway.

\o/ Wooo!! :D

Billwill has polished off a box of brandy-filled chocolates.

Hic.

Chip's just had an old man walk up alongside him in the street and shout: "WAKES YOU UP! THIS WEATHER! IT'S WOKEN ME UP!"

Chip's awake now.

Laughing out loud

My radio show interview with an 80s pop star did not take place on Saturday because the said star had a bad throat. As he has a gig this week it made sense to rest up rather than talk at me for two hours.

I had the unusual situation of receiving the news while on the lav but I did at least have the decency to let his call go to voicemail before calling back.

Anyway we've rescheduled for the 2nd February so all good. :)

an 80s pop star

Who's that then?

Stevie Wonder. He just called to say he loved him.

Or it's Limahl, and he was too shy to do the interview... :$

Bugger. I Googled "Hanging on the Telephone" and now I'm going to have to listen to The Nerves! Ta ta for now!

Who's that then?

You probably won't of heard of him but you'll know the band if you're over 30.

It's Brian 'Nasher' Nash of Frankie goes to Hollywood. It's the chap on the far right of this pic.

They made some damn fine singles. "Shooting stars never stop even when they reach the top..."
