I've been to Manchester, dellas. The last thing you need there is bright sunshine there.

What? Where?!
I should really go out and get my car washed.

I'm going to guess you have a Clio with neon lights and a huge exhaust.
Amiright?
R.C. is pleased that his social calendar next week is full to bursting - out all day tomorrow and then every single night except Wednesday.
R.C. is not pleased that he will have to travel on the Tube for most of these occassions in the sweltering heat and will arrive at said occassions sweating like a mofo.
Why does everyone talk about themselves in the 3rd person on this thread?
It is to replicate the style of a Status Update from Facebook.
Well that's what I thought it was anyway!

Why do people do that on there too?
Do you remember the quaint old days of the 'xxx xxx is...' format on FB?
I've always thought of it as in the way Facebook is or used to be laid out...
JOHN SMITH: Stuck in a Post Office cue! Grrrr!
And when translated into a sentence with context.
John Smith is stuck in a Post Office cue! Grrrr!
Although whoever takes a John Smiths to a post Office cue may need to reevaluate their lives.
(You can do it online these days)

Are you saying I'm old?

Worse still to take The Smiths to the post office, heaven knows they're miserable.

Nobody likes Facebook. We are all just conforming.

Booo hasn't yet realised that Status Report is the closet thing to a Facebook Update on the BCG.
R.C. realises that talking in the third person can sound ridiculously pompous. However, by using such a narrative device, it removes the poster from sounding too smug because said poster finally gets to leave the house.
