:D You've just described yourself in the 90%. tee-hee.

Pff, as if I'd spend money on erotica. Has no one heard of www.eroticstoriesforlaydeez.org? ;)

I phoned up the amazon hotline the other day and asked for four Kindles.

Laughing out loud

I like sniffing books too much.

*hopes AJGO doesn't buy a second hand copy of 50 Shades*

I bet that's why crime increases then... crime novels.

Yeah them damn crime writers!

I bet that's why crime increases then... crime novels.

According to the BBC 4 documentary on the rise of Scandanavian crime fiction, it was symptomatic to the influx of immigrants to these countries. From 1992 onwards, crimes such as murder, rape and drug dealing suddenly jumped in these once liberal societies after the introduction of a new underclass.

So crime novels are often re-active rather then causal. You could say the same thing for 50 Shades, but more likely, it's popularity is also based on the ability to anonymously download it and word of mouth.

Yeah... them immigrants, it's them that did it.

People just like to be involved with the current big craze.

I'm feeling utterly miserable now. Tried to cheer myself up with the guitar. That didn't work, which is a bad sign.

:( Hug What happened, NatWickus?

:( Hug What happened, NatWickus?

Probably yesterday's booze. No reason for my sulking really.

Why not read my new relentelessly up beat lady porn novel?

Fifty Shades of Yay!

Just as a last thing because, of course, I cannot shut up. I think that women are allowed to watch or read as much porn as they like. And are perfectly allowed to masturbate as much as they like - unless it's in an inappropriate place or whatever. I just don't think that that's what this is. I don't think that this book makes porn or masturbation for women okay, or even makes certain sexual fantasies more acceptable. I think it creates a false demand and I'm not quite sure that's the same. But where that goes is another matter I s'pose.

Surely bookporn is the ultimate victimless form of porn?@

I mean the characters are all imaginary. So no girls snorting cocaine to face the next degradation, or studs weeping as they realise their and ergo employability is gone for good.

But I suppose we are a desensitised society. I saw a baby in a tshirt the other day that read "I love bukake" (it wasn't even true)

Ew. AJGO will not be buying, or reading, any copy of 50 Shades.

Suspects a second hand copy of 50 shades, would probably be literally 50 shades.

I have finished writing for the day and shall stroll down to the sea shore now for a pint of doombar. Hoping the six foot four man whom I told to go f**k himself last night is not the sort to hold grudges.

:(
